The Mother-in-Law Suite. We were asked to add an entire suite to an existing home. This wasn't as simple as adding square footage. They wanted to remove half of the existing roof and build a suite that included a small kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, closet, laundry room and a covered outdoor deck. This involved designing the floorplan, structural engineers, plumbing, electrical and HVAC experts, and a lot of brain power. The clients were so impressed, the rest of the house now needs an update.
